Las Aventuras De Tintin: Tintin En El Congo (9788426114013)



En esta aventura, Tintín parte al centro de África, para realizar un reportaje. Allí le esperan peligrosas aventuras, pues sus enemigos le persiguen para matarle. Al volver Tintín de su viaje a Rusia relatado en Tintín en el país de los Soviets, Hergé recibe el encargo de hacer viajar a Tintín al Congo, entonces colonia de Bélgica. Este álbum es un documento excelente para ver cómo imaginaban los europeos de la época a África y a los africanos. La historia comenzó a publicarse el 5 de junio de 1930 en Le Petit Vingtième (Ver Biografía de Hergé). En 1946, Hergé redibujó totalmente el álbum para pasarlo a color y reducir sus 110 planchas de origen a las 62 páginas que tendrían los álbumes en lo sucesivo. En esta nueva versión a color introdujo numerosas modificaciones, suavizando un poco los tintes colonialistas. A pesar de ello, Tintín en el Congo cayó en desgracia a partir de los años 50, y se hizo bastante difícil de encontrar. Era el conflictivo momento de la descolonización, y el álbum no era particularmente muy oportuno. Pero curiosamente fue en una revista del Zaire donde reapareció por primera vez la historia, acabando con la cuarentena de Tintín en el Congo.
